Slicing Process
- Longitudinal slicing (also called lengthwise slicing, or Marunaka sliced veneers)
- ± 0.003” tolerance
- Slicing capacity from 0.5mm to 3.5mm = 1/48’’ to 1/7’’
Following the slicing process, veneers runs through the veneer dryer to achieve a humidity rating between 8% and 12%.
