Thick veneers faces
Do you wonder where to get large panels of thick veneers – thicker than 1/20’’ = 1.3mm?
With 30 years experience, Beaulac Veneers specialise in thick veneers slicing and splicing. We have the experience and the right equipment to create panels from thick veneers flitches.
A splice veneer face is created by splicing and matching multiple sheets together, usually from a veneer sequence – but not always.
Starting from 1.30mm = 1/20’’, Beaulac veneers can splice panels up to 3.2mm = 1/8’’
We can do almost any size, up to 5×10’!
Cross grain spliced panels are also available. Cross grain refers to the orientation of the wood fiber within the board, when the grain of the veneers is horizontal on the panel (instead of vertical). Cross grain panel dimension will be for example a 8×4’ face panel instead of 4×8’.
